There is so much we can do to help ourselves with anxiety at home. When the stress hormone cortisol is coursing through our veins it can be hard to think of anything positive, we need to look after ourselves. So here is what I do if I feel anxious.
💜FAST ACTION - My ‘go to’ is meditation. Sit or lie down and focus on your breath coming in and out of the nose. Every time the mind wanders just bring it back to the breath..simple! It calms down the nervous system and gets us out of fight or flight. Fast action results 10/10
💜SOOTHING - Take some essential oil blended in base oil and massage your feet. My favourite would be Lavender and/or Frankincense. Really spend time working between the toes and just note where it feels tender. Keep working on these areas until they feel softer and more relaxed. Soothing results 10/10
💜PLEASURE - Get outside and be with nature. The natural healing quality of trees, plants and animals is beyond measure. Spend time looking at minute details, bend down and study the earth, what little creatures can you see and what are they doing, there is a whole world out there waiting to be explored. Pleasure results 10/10
💜SATISFACTION- Do something kind for someone else. Get your mind off your problems and focus on bringing joy to another. Start to come up with unusual ideas that make you smile. Satisfaction results 10/10
💜RELIEF - Pray to a Source Energy greater than yourself, who loves you beyond anything you can comprehend and who really has got your back. Simply hand over your worries and expect them to be resolved in a simple and easy way for all concerned. Relief results 10/10
