How do we turn the carrots into an oil?
It is obtained by macerating dried and grated carrots in organic vegetable oil. It is left to steep until it turns the oil into a golden oil with the colour of the carrots. It is rich in vitamins B, C, D and E and contains over 600 carotenoids (powerful antioxidants), the most important being beta-carotene, which our body converts into active vitamin A. All this goodness is in the oil. Carrot oil is THE oil for skin regeneration, its lovely colour also imparts a light natural summery glow to the skin as it is absorbed into the top layers of the skin and works its magic.
Vitamin A has long been known to rejuvenate the skin, and many of the big players in the face products world use a chemical version of Vitamin A in their products because it is cheaper and also because it has a longer shelf life. But we believe that nature always knows best and the natural vitamins and minerals can never be properly replicated by a chemical. The chain reaction in the skin is just not the same.
